Undoubtedly Alexander is one of the most interesting players in modern chess.
His aggressive and uncompromising style, unusual opening repertoire and
interesting personality have won him lots of fans among the chess public. Here
we hope to let you know this exciting player better.
When this site was planned, we received e-mail from one of Morozevich’s
fans who said that we should avoid any “idol” stuff here and concentrate on
chess. Good point and this is exactly what we want to do — by showing you
Alexander’s games, his notes, interviews and photos. Morozevich is not a
chess-playing superman, who is always right. No, he actually makes mistakes just
as the rest us... OK, maybe in chess not so often! :-)
So, welcome to the site and let us know how to make it better — we would
appreciate your comments. In the end of the days, chess players create for the
