Welcome to the International Chess Auctions site! Our next auction will take place between the 15th and 17th of May 2009. We will offer our clients a fantastic selection of rare magazines and books. Lots will be posted here soon - stay tuned! Note that we moved the dates one day forward as on the 16th of May there will be a chess bookfair and lecture in Amsterdam, attended by many chess collectors. Our 20th auction was a great success - you can find its results (in Word and PDF) below.
GM Alexander Baburin, 12 May 2009 Please
note that lock at the web-pages may be slightly out of sync - always check
the actual "closing time" the clock is showing for every lot.
To get a better idea how much time remains before bidding is closed, refresh
(reload) web pages frequently. Towards the end every new bid will set
the remaining time as 5 minutes. Thus bidding will go on as long as there
are two bidders. While you don't have time increment in real-life auctions,
there you won't be bidding at several lots at the same time either. The
time increment discourages the use of special software, which would submit
bids seconds before bidding is closed. We trust this system benefits our
clients, making our auctions more enjoyable.
You can download results of some of our earlier auctions - simply right-click on the file and chose "Save":
