Welcome to the International Chess Auctions site!
Our current auction concludes on 12 February. Bidding will cease between approx 19:30 and 22:30 London time. Please note that our Web pages show Central European time (Berlin). To get a better idea how much time is remaining, refresh (reload) web pages frequently. Please note that when bidding is about to close, every new bid adds 5 minutes - we use 5-minute increment. Therefore bidding will go on as long as there are at least two interested parties. I don't want to make the increment any smaller - sometimes our clients bid on 2-3 lots at the same time, so I want to give everyone a fair chance to reflect on their position.
If you would like bid at our auctions, you need to register. This is easy - follow the 'Registration' link on the left and choose your user name. Please do not use blank spaces in the user name (i.e. two words) - our software won't allow you to bid then! Please note that it may not receive your password from us immediately, so don't leave registering till the last moment! Usually I try to verify that a newly registered user is genuine, so after registering consider calling or faxing me to speed up the approval.
Attention registered users: if you cannot log in, contact me via e-mail. If you don't know my e-mail address (I don't want to post it here!), then phone me on 353-1-278-22-76 or send a fax to 353-1-283-6839. Please note that simply requesting your user name and password to be sent to your e-mail will work ONLY if we have your current e-mail address in our system. NB We frequently remove those users whose e-mail addresses constantly bounce.
Our next auction will be organized soon (provisionally March 2005). It is likely to include Tony Miles memorabilia (cups, score-sheets, etc) and many interesting/rare chess books and periodicals.
